The Windows Server hypervisor may very well be one of the features confirmed by default for the next generation of the OS. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make an impact across the Windows org and potential impact across Microsoft. Do you have what it takes to drive Hyper-V technologies across Windows teams to enable test/dev scenario? This team is also responsible for evolving and driving Hyper-v scenarios across internal and external partners teams. You will get an opportunity to work on various broader technologies like Storage Clusters, SCVMM and VDI. You will also be working with Dev/Test/PM to define Hyper-V End-to-end scenarios for next version of windows.
In addition to the above responsibilities, candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 7 strong SDETs . Exposure to operating system internals, kernel debugging and knowledge of Windows NT internals and the x86 processor architecture would be an added advantage. Prior experience with customer engagement, scenario development would be highly desirable. The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience writing solid C/C++ code and should have at least 4 years experience in managing teams. A master’s degree in Computer Science is preferred.
